Yeah, it has!  I think I need a drink...

My body is still in recovery mode from this weekend... especially the Sunday rum.

You were tossing back pretty hard, when i left, my friend... glad you made it.  Thank you again for your help.

Hector, it was great finally meeting you, although I saw not hide nor hair of you on Sunday!  It was like you were swept away by the storm!  Next time we'll have to sit down and trade stories... 

RenStarr, it was really nice meeting you, finally... and if I had thought to ask who you were earlier, we would have had to sit down and have a chat, as well!  Thank you so much for the coffee!  It definitely hit the spot! 

Fraser... it was nice having the chance to just sit with you in the quiet Sat. night and chat.  I think that was definitely one of my very favorite parts of this weekend.  I have missed you, my friend. 

Bonny, likewise.  I never seemed to have any time with you when you were herding cats, so it was nice to find some quiet time with you, as well! 

Maeven, Nick and April... you're like my own little chilluns... and now you're all actually officially part of the Fairmily! Gotta find some Faire names for a couple of you, though.  I'm thinking Dumplin might just have to be April's new name... because the next morning everyone who was awake the night before was still RAVING about that dish!!!   

Ravic, it was wonderful hugging you this year!  Wish we could have chatted longer, but I know you were hungry, and we were headed the other direction.  We'll sit down and really talk next time, though.  (hug)

Keeper, I really do think you need an Amazing Inflatable Tent Of AWESOME... although rolling it up afterward can be a bit labor intensive... so there is that.  It was fun showing it off to you, though! 

Lady Alicia, it was wonderful meeting you and your husband, and I hope you will both want to camp with us all again!  I'm so glad you didn't have any trouble finding us, and that you didn't get blown away!!! 


Teach... it's always a coming home moment when I see you and Trinn... and there is nothing warmer than hugs from the both of you! 


And finally, Mouse... it's true that you had a much longer line-up for flogging than anyone else... but that's just because you're so easy to beat up on, I think.    Or maybe it's because so many people just want to be able to say they touched your butt...   LOL  It was really great getting to hang with the both of you this weekend, though... and I am definitely looking forward to next time.  I'm having a real Bogey and Bacall moment, here... beautiful friendship, and all.

Still cleaning things up from the RenNado this past weekend.  My tent, rain fly, and tarp were soaking wet since I just folded them up on Sunday morning and threw them in the truck.  I pulled them all out yesterday afternoon to dry out and clean up.  Wasn't really looking forward to that job, but the smell of "campfire" that was still in my tent just took me back to this past weekend.  Damn I love that smell!!

We didn't get the chance to infuse our cloaks with fresh campfire scent this year, since it was so warm... so we will have to look forward to Sherwood for that!  Already counting the days!!!

I wish I had seen everyone! We got in just after parade but no one was at Indulgences. We walked around but I found very few people. Rani- i so wanted to see you and Scally but never ran into you!

We stayed at my parents and heard the storm go through Conroe and decided not to go oout on Sunday.

Fae, we were actually ON the patio of Indulgences, and everyone else was off to the side under the trees, taking pictures.  We didn't even see any of them on Sat., either.  We were there for a while after parade, though.  I'm so sad we didn't get to see you, as well!  We're planning for Sherwood, though... the two weekends surrounding our spring break (Mar. 14-24), so I hope you'll be able to make it out for one of those, at least!  We will also be couch-surfing that week in between, so we will be in the area for 11 days, altogether.  Save The Date(s)!!!

There is a list of who is camping where, on the first page of the Who/When/Where thread... and you might post on there that you are looking for a safe, quiet spot for this weekend... and even message a few of the people listed directly, in case they don't get the chance to read new posts.  Since we usually only get down for AHE I don't really have much helpful advice other than that.  Sorry.  I'm sure you will find great people to camp with, though!  Best to avoid the middle areas, as they tend to get the most wild... and stay FAR away from the fire circle!

Fraser, as always you are one of the first people I look for when I set up camp at TRF, so glad I got to see you! I have been summoned to the Houston area for more often gathering, so I will let you know next time I am in town so we can rectify this not seeing each other often enough!

The BS crew was amazing as always (if you missed Gumbo you missed out, but I was NOT giving up my bowl!) can not wait until the next time we get to hang out!

To my PR farimly ... I always have a hard time leaving ya'll! My heart breaks a bit on each drive away from an event. *hugs*

To Teach and Trinn....you are the best part of faire for me sometimes, and our outing on Saturday was one of the highlights of a very glorious weekend!

Rani, it was great seeing you and Scally again!

Alex and Betty you guys were awesome as camp Bosses and cooks! Ya'll rocked that chilli like no one's business!

And finally to my little hatchling Mouse! I was very proud of you this weekend, you did your sponsor proud! I can not wait to see all the things you experince with the clan...so happy to have you as an even closer part of the fairmly!

B and Tiff.....it is always a great, amazing time to see you and you are part of that Houston summons I was speaking of!

Bonny it was great to see you this weekend and you are on my list of people I need to spend more time with!

Megan.....2 hours and we never see each other! Fix this we must (we'll figure it out by 30 right?)
