Thank you, Sir!  She's doing much better...an infection is running a bit wild but their getting it under control.  I think she's getting cut loose tomorrow.  Hopefully.  She still has a ways to go yet.

Just got back from burning some brass & killing some paper.  Didn't do too bad for not having shot in over a year... Blew my boss's mind by putting 6 thru the same hole.     He should see me shoot when I'm not rusty.

If I recall the story correctly... she's fairly adept at climbing.   

I wouldn't count brain injuries out, you know... particularly since your knees already give you enough pain.  I mean, why bother with something that can't really be made a whole lot worse when you can cause all kinds of NEW and EXCITING pain somewhere else altogether?   


Fraser... may I ask what you do with all of your spent brass casings?  Do you load-your-own, or recycle them in any way?  Reason I ask is... I've been seeing some really interesting artwork done with them, and thought I might like to do a bit of exploring in that direction, if I had a way to get my hands on some inexpensively.

No worries... I actually found some industrial brass tubing in varying gauges that is surprisingly reasonable, and I think I might just invest in a couple of yards of that and a tubing cutter, instead.

(sigh) Long day, today... after a night of almost no sleep we were at the hospital most of the day with my grandpa, who is having some internal bleeding from what may be esophageal irritation, or possibly something a bit lower in his stomach. He has had serious acid reflux for decades, but medications have mostly controlled it over the years. We'll find out tomorrow after they send a scope down there. Not the best way to start his 101st birthday week, that's for sure. He seems to be stable at the moment, but he's feeling really weak from the loss of blood, and really uncomfortable, as well. I would like to ask for prayers and healing thoughts for him, please.

We're going to try and get a little rest tonight, and get back up there in the morning.
