More likely in the food...all the hormones that are added.  My son is 12, in the 7th grade, and I am shocked to see some of the kids leaving that school.  Boys with full on facial hair, girls already fully developed...  Then there is my boy, who looks half the size of most of the girls, still very much a little boy.  Which I am happy with, not ready for puberty yet!

She was of age!  I swear it!  I even made a copy of her ID...

I agree, Trill... there is definitely a lot of early development going on in this country, and it's not healthy for the kids!  Almost impossible to get away from, also, unless you can afford to to buy all organic, which not many can.

B, that may be a bragging right for you, at this point, but you have 3 daughters now... and you might feel a little differently if it was them saying that at your age.  Little scarier when it's your kids than when it's you, I know!     There were kids in my daughter's 5th grade who bragged about being sexually active (and the middle school years were a nightmare!)... and all I could think of was "I hope they're ready to be teenage parents, because that's where THAT's headed!"

Oh, my goodness... it's under a WEEK!!!  I'm over 500 miles away, and I can practically feel the wind created by all of you rushing frantically around trying to get last minute packing, shopping, sewing and polishing done!    No wonder no one has time to post!    lol 


Ravic, I'm glad you at least got your tickets sold, so you aren't out anything.  I wish you were able to get out there, though, and at least soak up some of the atmosphere!  I'm hoping some of it wafts all the way up here!
