My mother had kid pictures of me in lederhosen that came out everytime I brought a date home. Oy...

Scarborough lacked any German garb....if TRF has some shops with it then the clothing demons will have subdued me once again.

they dont have anyone who sells it, as far as i have seen, but there IS a German court, and the ladies do it fabulously!!

Both of me kilts are wool. The Fraser of Lovat tartan is my formal one and "special occasions" only (like putting me in the ground).  The one i wear to faire is Black Watch Modern, as is my fly plaid.  Black & green being me personal colors, Black Watch suits me fine.  My bracers are black & green leather, also.  Stunning in a dark twisted kind of way...  like me!

Down here, in this heat, I prefer to wear my PV kilts, they are 8 yard nether the less, let them hang as they will

Allen was talking to me a couple of years ago about going as a Landesknecht... too much floofage for me  He pulls it off well, though. I'd make a good dopplesoldier with my frame, but I like comfy clothes.

As for what we do with our faire stuff, usually it gets hung up in the closet except for tunics, which we wear around the house as "lounging clothes"

Didn't Crown come out with a "Special Casket" blend for something like $100 a bottle?? Seems I've seen something like that but lack the funds to sample.
