Seriously... is there any way to skip some days on that calendar to get it here faster?

Well, since I got saddled working Fri and Sat this weekend, which blows going to a Lughnasadh celebration I have been planning on for months out of the water, I will have Sunday and Monday off and be in town... seems a trip out to start working on the forge is in order.

I'll get pics as best I can  :)

I'll be officially scared when it's 60 days. BUT I do have my corset, hoopskirt, shoes, bloomers, and stein. This weekend I am constructing my chemises and petticoats and then I need to buy socks and voila... I am all set in my underwear! Then the 15th I get to see dresses and pick one then I can pick jewelry, belts, pouches and hats. WHEE

I'll breath a sigh of relief when I'm there with the camper is in one piece and I'm drinking the beer I didn't forget...It's all those last minute hoo-ha's that I always forget. Like beer and money..... ::)

Since I don't drink, that's more fridge space for munchies for me  ;D (yes, we have a fridge)

Well, I was pondering many things today, and it occurred to me that many folks who go to faire save up all year and blow a huge wad of money on the whole thing. This makes me feel both a tad guilty since I get in for free and get to practice my hobby (smithing), and simultaneously feel a sense of pride in the whole thing that people love the experience so much that they put so much time, effort, and money into it. It's like Woodstock with chainmail  :D

Anyone who's been to Disneyworld knows TRF is a bargain. Freakin mouse broke me open last time I went....

So much to do between now and then! Last year, Opening Weekend, I went to hopefully try on and buy a Ravenswood Saberist bodice...but when I got in there, much to my dismay and heartbreak, they didn't have any in stock. My question to myself is...is this the year to try again (and to make sure to call them prior to said weekend so I'm not in the same conundrum)?

I reaaaaally reaaaaaaaaally want a Saberist bodice. >.<

Fairenowkthx!  ;D

I love their leather.... if you can, try to drop your order on them early.  They've given me killer service, even with custom stuff.

Oh, yes.  I brought a large, pewter stein out to TRF last year.  I did not let it's utility go to waste.
