So yeah..

I'm at lunch today, meeting with a coworker. I'm mid-speech and all of a sudden I hear BAGPIPES!


And of course like any good Rennie, I stop everything I'm doing and get a big huge dumb grin on my face and a nice big "HUZZAH!" manages to escape me before I realize I'm in an Applebees...and in a suit...and...talking business...and the bagpipes were playing from someone's phone..((In retrospect, I also recall being tempted to run over to the player of said i-phone bagpipes and hug-tackle them and talk their ears off about Faire and see if they were a Rennie...but...I guess a random shouting of HUZZAH versus possibly being charged with assaulting a stranger was the safer route...whew!))

I wasn't even upset about appearing insane to all of those 'daners in the restaurant or my coworker (everyone knows me as the 'pirate geek girl' at work anyway!); moreso I was just darn dissappointed because Bagpipes = Instant Faire-On Switch! - But, Avast! - No faire...yet

Meh.

October better hurry her cute little butt up; i'm starting to lose it!

Blue, all I know about your character is that she likes leeches, and maybe tapeworms...  and killing the French.  Or maybe killing everyone.  Are you a Medici this year, by chance? 

She does like leeches. She also has a pet tapeworm. She likes to torture people, mostly the French, and Monday's brother "the other one". She keeps thumbscrews, rusty pointy things, and other torture devices. She also keeps the shrunken head of her assassinated husband on her staff.

Ahhhh, Transylvanian Slavica.  Cel Rau, eh?  Close relative of Vlad, by marriage, then, I take it?  (she is not "os de domn", meaning "of voivode bones" or "of voivode marrow", but is just as bloodthirsty, eh?)  I have some lineage links for cel Rau if you want to check them out, if you still need to pad your backstory a bit. I'm not sure what they gave you, or if you're creating her from scratch, or even what timeline she's in, but name dropping to the patrons is always fun, as are the little "family histories" that can be dug up and embellished upon.    She sounds like she's going to be lots of fun to play!  Can't wait to meet her...  heheheh

Yes, cel Rau. Wife of Mihnea cel Rau, son of Vlad Tepes. Mother of Ruxandra, who married Bogdan III cel Orb (Voivode of Moldavia I think). Not much is known of Voica, so I get to do a lot with the character.
