Four Kingdoms Renaissance Festival 2009

So is anyone planning to attend this one? It's only one weekend, September 26 & 27. They have the entertainers list up on their website (FourKingdoms.com), as well as a partial vendors list. The vendors list tends to fill up more closer to faire dates. I'll be working this faire at least one day, so come on out and let's have fun!

Would love to be able to but will be in Michigan that weekend. This year faire plans are not turning out as originally planned. O well... at least we're able to go at all.

I may go on the Saturday with my friend Sarah if she can go.  Otherwise I'll pass.  Steve didn't like it, and I've volunteered a couple of times and it wasn't successful.

Who went from the RF this year?  I couldn't make it, the first year since it opened.  How was it? Any pictures, or a meet & greet?

Sadly, 2009 was the last year for this faire. The Quad Cities has so many festivals in the summer/early fall that this one just couldn't compete.

I kind of thought that would happen.  The first year had halfway decent attendance, but it seemed to go downhill after that.

I heard that 4 kingdoms was still going to be held this year, but under new management/ownership, and that it'll be held in the woods, behind the lake.  Still waiting for confirmation on that from Greg Shmidt.

I hope they do have this one. There are some changes in the works from what I understand. Will have to wait and see.
