Probably silly question- waistband on a circular skirt?

I have 7 yards of a pale pink satin that i want to make into a circular skirt for my faerie costume. Ive made a circular skirt before, so that's not my concern- my question is... how would I add a waistband to it? I'm just concerned by the fact that as it's circular, we're dealing with curves, which bunch, vs straight lines. i have set a standing collar into a partlet, and i know it's essentially the same thing on a larger scale... lol I'm just nervous!

and FYI: if youre interested, dress diary for the faerie costume:

The waistband on my circle skirt pattern (which only takes 4 yards) is pretty much the same as any other waistband and attaching it was very simple. I didn't have any problems with bunching.

this is what I mean by circular skirt (realized I had seen other types referred to by the same name in the past)

As Manwariel said - it's really no different than attatching a waistband to a gored skirt or any other kind.

I had a skirt that was 360 degrees at the hem and all I had to do was to gather the waist a bit before putting it into the waist band.  There were no big issues with bunching either.

Yep, looks just like the pattern I used. I put a yoke instead of a waistband on the last one I made and didn't think about using the pattern's waistband so I was going to the trouble of trying to make the bottom of the yoke match the curve of the skirt, and then I realized I could use the waistband, which is just a rectangle, for the length and shape of the bottom of the yoke, and it worked perfectly. Which is a long way of saying, it really is that simple. :)
