Isabella, that ensemble is *glorious!*  Love the colors.  Do you have pictures with the jacket closed?

The Cavalier Shirt is finished. What I used for the contrast Cotton Paisley fabric with the Muslin and the Needleace, the shirt has that early 17th Century look about it. I did loops and buttons rather than ties.

There are panels down the front seam 12" by 3 5/8" wide from the neck of the contrast fabric. The inside seam is finished with Bias tape. The added lace gives things more of a period look.

The back of the collar with Needlelace. There are 10 4" dep darts to make the collar appear a bit round. The Collar started out as a rectangular piece.

A not too great of photo to show the outer cuff with lace.

its a shame that the girl i made this for is smaller than me, because i totally would have stolen it lol.

but now onto my next projects which include

-start working on a simple gown
-make a new chemise
-make a partlet
-i may make shoulder rolls
-make some kind of hat or floppy hat to wear with the gown

Lady Kathleen, you are my heroine and my inspiration. I aspire to be 1/10th as good as you one day.
That hat is beautiful and that cavalier shirt is just jaw dropping.

Ok, I finally finished after taking about a month off from sewing.  So here it is.  It kinda looks funny on the hanger and hanging from a door.  Plus I took the pics outside so the color looks a bit lighter.
