I finally have something worth putting in here!!
My best friend's little brother just turned 7. He loves knights, horses, dragons...the whole sha-bang. So...we decided to take him to Medieval Times...and have him Knighted!! And, of course, a knight needs a tabard. No pattern, and just a t-shirt to work with for a size guide. I'm proud of it!

I promise the bottom edge is straight...it's just the wind blowing it about.

We are taking him to Ren Faire for Halloween!! I can't wait to see how much that'll trip him out! He LOVED Medieval Times!

Tammy, he's adorable!!!  And he looks ecstatic...  :D

Syrilla... you are a vision in blue, and with only a very little accessorizing, you've got prize-winning Steampunk, as well!!!

Thank you Rani! He refused to take it off for the 2 hour drive to MT, then he wouldn't take it off while we walked around the mall. I found out today...they FINALLY got it off him when they tempted him with a bath this afternoon. That makes me feel so good!

I wore part of this outfit for the first weekend of MNRF but I had this finished outfit planned from the begining.  It's a lime green dress with purple binding.  Orange skirt and sleeves with purple lining.  I certainly was bright.  8)  The hat is also one I wore before but I pulled it apart and rebuilt it with some extra features that I'll post in the "hats" thread.  I had such fun wearing this!
Nothing clever to say here.  Not enough caffine yet.

Thank you!  It was such fun to wear.  It had been raining and yucky all day then suddenly I am this bright spot (literally!) in the day.  I made lots of people smile.  lol

Hey, I recognize that Irish dress!   ;D (And how nice to see it not totally obscured by a heavy black cloak!  Golly, could it have been *colder* yesterday?!)  It looks *fab* on you, btw!!

I have corset!  For reals!!!  It's really, really finished (and Genievea, had I known the grommets were going to go in so quickly, I'd have done them Friday night.  Sigh.)

Please note: the dress form is about a size 2, and I... am not. :P  I will have Milord take real pictures when he gets home, but I just couldn't wait to get it somewhere I could look at it!!

I can't believe it! I've been wanting/thinking about/talking about making a corset for five years, and I've finally done it!  And it's even pretty!
