I haven't been on here in ages, actually haven't been sewing for almost a year or better. I was inspired this season to Finally finish an ensamble.

Ooooh!  The pretty gold!  Oh, the lovely teal!

Me want to sew garb!  (Last two days on the wedding stuff!  I have two bags to make [couple of hours each - possibly!  I know what I'm doing for one lass, but not the other!  Two are done], my dress to finish [zip, seams, hem rolling, straps: about 4 hours!], the MotB's top and jacket to make up [call it six hours total], and a pin to sew on a stole!)

Taffy!!  You are coming along wonderfully!!! HUZZAH!!!

That will indeed add more oomph to the Italian gown I did for you almost 2 years ago!!!

Taffy, that's gorgeous! Like everyone else, I'm a big fan of that material :)

Tia, that is beautiful :D I love the color! And the black trim really makes it stand out. Very nice.
Sometimes you can't wait for the storm to pass; you have to just get out there and dance in the rain.

I love this color. For years I've been telling myself that I will make something teal/turquoise. <sigh>
Your dress is lovely.

I like that color too. I really like the look of gowns with simple black guards. Very nice.

Taffy, I love your ropa. Can't wait to see it paired with Kathleens gown. My opinion is a short row of hooks, say from bust to high waist, would give you the option to wear it closed or open. Nothing over large or heavy.

Oh why...Oh Why...did I decide to bead the Dirt Fairy's Court Gown a week before faire???  lol ;)
