I love the camo pants with the red tunic! They all look great! And where are the pictures of Auntie? You had to look smashing your self 8)

Lol!  We didn't want him to get cold so he wore his favorite pants.

My sister in law is holding pictures of me hostage.  :-)  I just wore an older dress of mine since I was playing run around with the nephews.

Thank you!

Everyone is showing out such wonderful projects for faire this year!   Beautiful!   Especially love the kids work.         This fall we decided last minute to participate in the SteamPunk Invasion at OHRF.  Was so much fun for one day.  (can't part with my Elizabethan garb)  so on  short notice, this is what my sister and I cooked up! I wish I had a shot of the back.   Had a blast!

Brava!!!

It is becoming quite apparent that the SIMPLICITY Steampunk pattern will be getting a lot of milage. It's a great pattern! I enjoy seeing variations of it.

Kathy, you look beautiful!

And by the way, did you "forget" to mention to me that my dogs chewed up part of the bodice on my noble gown?

Steve & I were discussing the Halloween parade that is next Saturday in Galena, & he asked what I planned to wear.  I said my noble gown, & he said, "But your red Irish dress is so pretty, wear that."

And I said, "No, I want to wear my noble gown," and he then said, "no, you can't."

At which point he told me he found my bodice chewed up on the floor one day when he came home, so he put it in the mail to you.  He "forgot" to tell me about this whole thing!

Anyway, your lovely Victorian outfit is complete, I guess you have one more project in the Gallery of Unfinished Projects!   :o

Well, if I had come home and caught them, "deep trouble" wouldn't describe it!  But it was over a week ago, and if I was mad at them, they wouldn't have a clue, so I had to let it go.

Now Steve, on the other hand, could have told me.  But I was supposed to be out of town next weekend, so I wouldn't have been in the parade, and he knows me well enough to just take care of it and have it back and hung in the closet and it would be done.

And hopefully soon, I will be able to post my own finished project, a long 1 piece dress, more medieval than Renaissance, but I could use it with a bodice and overskirt if I want.

My neice in her new princess dress, she had just woken up from a nap so she was not in the picture taking mood hence the hand on the nose.
