Lady Caroline

Oh my goodness, I've been away for a while and so much has been done here :)  It will take me hours to catch up and read everything!

Completed projects:  they all look wonderful!  You are getting me thinking about the 2009 season all ready!  Good job to all of you.

I was going through one of the books that Santa brought me, and came across a picture of "Bloody" Mary in a dress made of material that is similar to one that I bought last year and was saving for the right project.  Well, I think I have my next project :)

Hope you are all having a nice holiday season.

As always, milady, a well done and impressive achievement. You make it look simple, yet I know the blood, sweat and tears involved in the birthing of each ensemble.

I adore your dress, Artemisia!

As another pointed out, the trick with those High Renaissance dresses is to make them look "plain" and simple, and let the materials and colours speak for themselves. The simplicity in look demands a lot of the cut and construction. You just gotta get it right for the dress to look good, to look right.

And that's exactly what you've achieved! Major brava!

Artemisia

Thanks. :)
Means alot coming from you guys.
