Lorraine

I just finished taking pics of Rani's new bodice, well, one side of it anyway. This side is of the fabric she sent me, the color didn't show up very well as chenille tends to reflect light back at the flash, but the closeup of the tabs is pretty close to the real color. She wanted neutrals and nothing too high class since she plays a gypsy, so I did dark brown piping around the neckline and arms, and wood, glass, and copper beads for the drops. I also ordered some antique copper grommets, I really like the way those came out. I made this rather tight since she is still losing weight, hence the side modesty panels. Hope you like it Rani :)

Rani Zemirah

Oh, Bonnie... it's so amazing!!!  I can hardly believe I get to own this!  The copper grommets are inspired, and I love the piping, it's exactly what I wanted!!!  The tabs are beautiful, and the beads couldn't be more perfect!  I can't even believe how perfectly the lacing matches...  There just aren't enough exclamation points to show how much I love it!!!

This will shrink along with me, and I'll need it to, since I'm still losing about 5-10lbs a week at this point, and that will continue for another few weeks, at least.

I'm so excited, and I can hardly believe it will be on it's way tomorrow!!!  I'm bouncing up and down in my chair...  ROFL

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

You're very welcome Rani, I'm sure you'll look stunning in it next week. Thanks Luciana, I'm hoping we can get started on your dress in the next week or two, that way my next bodice can be yours :)
Heres the reverse of Rani's, an embroidered cotton twill.
