What's the story on discount tickets this year?

MD does not have a favorable process to obtain discounted tickets. As you know they require ALL $$ up front and in advance.

My advice for those traveling in is plan ahead. Before faire starts MDRF will post discount coupons on their site. I believe they are for the first 2 weekends. I am sure if you plan well, you can purchase your ticket during this period for use later.

In ,the past, they have also sent coupons to those who "susbcribe" to the website. Though I will not be at faire I may join you for the Fri nite meet n greet.

Unfortunately due to the fact that I am still a contract employee at my new job (let the rejoicing begin) and thus, do not get vacation time, I shall not be in attendance this year (Let the rejoicing grow more boisterous). I will, however, be there in spirit. Have fun, all, and I hope to see you all at a later date.

Just ordered our Fairever passes, first year doing so!
And we are confirmed in staying all three days, including the Friday night meet and greet (where is that going to be by the way)?

Is there going to be anyone from Texas that is going to make it this year? 

I wish things were different but I'm going to have to put it down as "Unable to attend" this year.
I wanted to make it so badly but there is no way I will be able to afford the plane ticket to Maryland on top just paying for classes and having yet to buy books and art supplies.

I so wish I could be there, but this time it'll only be in spirit.

I will be checking out one more place for Friday Nights Meet-n-greet. A new pub that opened up in Crownsville. Next Monday I will post where the Friday evening event will be.
