I wish to thank Scotsman for personally checking out the pubs. It should be noted that no one ordered him on this dangerous mission, that this brave young man stepped forward and took the weight of who knows how many pints on his shoulders to ensure our Labor Day repast would be a fantastic experience.

Thank you Scotsman!

The pub in Crownsville is ideal except for the parking ... it would be a mess for us.

That said, the Friday night Meet-N-Greet will be held at ....

... wait for it.....

... I would like to post a bad hat advisory for everyone. It has been brought to my attention that Scotsman has an aversion to Fedora style hats...

I now return you to your regularly scheduled forum..thank you for your attention

OMG ... tag teamed by you two!

Its gonna be a great weekend ... pray (slightly) for Earl ... nothing like a faire in a Hurricane ... if Earl comes it will mark my 3rd faire during a hurricane ... nothing funner!

Seriously, I think it will miss us, if it does hit it looks like it will touch down Thursday eve or Friday morn.

Sidebar: Posted several notes on Facebook ... does anything else need to be said?

Almost forgot ...

Tailgate, need locals to help out a bit. Lady Guinness and I will have light snacks (probably breakfast sausage/ham biscuits)

We will also have a large cooler full of liquids. There will be extra room in our cooler if anyone wants to contribute.

I just want to be a good host for our out-of-towners and do not expect them to have to scurry to get anything.

So, if there is anything our local folks want to bring for Saturday & Sunday please assist. Monday is usually a pretty low profile and cut back tailgate ... can you say leftovers.

Note: No lunchtime tailgate this year ... just too much hassle.

I can bring cookies (planning on some I haven't brought before :) ).

Also can bring what's left of the cinnamon-flavored beverage I  made a while back. I imagine it will go well in the coffee?

I can't wait.

I doubt Earl is going to hit. For if it does, we cannot make it :(

I looked at the ten day forecast today and they aren't predicting any rain down this way. *knocks wood frantically*

Scotsman

It looks like Earl is a non-factor save the fact it is going to cool the weekend off a bit ... Saturday low 80's Sunday high 70's ... SWEET!

Weather Update! Hurricane Earle is expected to skirt the coast of Maryland on Friday ONLY. Only coastal towns such as Ocean City are to expect any real precipitation (chance of rain 30% for Crownsville on Friday). Saturday, Sunday and Monday expected to be SUNNY and temps between 75-80!!

You know, I don't think it's his shoulders that are bearing the weight ...
