general manager/partner of Sherwood, Sir George
There was much more said about him but it was hard to hear where I was sitting
I'm the reason the rum is gone! (Unless Teach is near by!)

bellevivre

I'm wondering- George as in KING George from TRF...?

VERY confused...

At least I'm 99% sure that's him

sir george, a very intelligent, soulful, humble, and knightly individual--rennie, playtron in his own right.  business consultant.  joining the team as investor, manager, partner of sherwood . . . out of sense of wanting to be a part of this faire and this community.

i am extremely encouraged he is pitching his tent in our encampment.

we will be better for him being a part of sherwood.

rengypsy

ps. he and i love the same authors: Robin Hobb, George RR Martin, Tolkien, Feist

yes, indeed.

we are all on this journey together, are we not?

and it's my belief it will be a quite extraordinary exploration into creating a faire around a community.

hell fire, we already have regular pot lucks.  and our fellowship hall and sanctuary is a forest.

worth reading the book, "illusions" by richard bach, if time permits.

May I take this opportunity to remind everyone that not all fire is hell?

Thank  you!

Do not burden yourself with the secrets of scary people.

bellevivre

Illusions is indeed a WONDERFUL book!

I am proud to be a part of this community, even if as of yet I'm on the fringes physically, i am SO there in spirit!

I am actually more excited about Sherwood opening than TRF!

what a beautiful statement.

we hope sherwood lives up to everyone's expectations

and understand, sherwood is everyone's faire...and thus, it will be what we all bring to the experience!

Wasn't he the one who was putting on Excal, over at Smithville, and moved it to Lockhart?

no, no, no...

he is a successful business consultant and long time rennie.

nothing to do with faire operations before this point.

neither of us have been involved in any start up faire before this, but what we are both bringing to the venture is a lot of business experience, passion for the faire, good empirical financials and studies of faire operations, and old souls who feel quite at home amidst the medieval/renaissance times.

sherwood will be quite unique we feel with authenticity as one of our core values and missions.
