Bought a false bun. Now what?

There's a new vendor at our fair, and she was selling false buns.  When I spotted one in my exact hair color, studded with pearls, for $5  , I had to snatch one up!

You can see my hair in my avatar; any suggestions for what to do with this thing?  It's braided and about the size of the palm of my hand.

well if its the same kind of false buns that i wear. you brush your hair back into a pony tail, wrap your hair around the elastic, and then snap the bun on by bobby pins

That's how I do it, too. Hair in a ponytail, wrap the hair around and stick a couple bobby pins in, cover with the bun jamming the comb ino the ponytail.
