Anyone know what type of fabric is "Turban Cloth"?  It is listed in a Reconstructing History Pattern for a gable hood.

Turban cloth??

I don't think I have run acrossed that term before. All I can think of is a Cotton Batiste. The weight and feel of it would be used for wrapping to make Turbans.

What is it being used for?  I Googled the term, and I'm wondering if it's for some kind of veil application for the hood...?

I will have to read the instructions from front to back to find what they want to use it on, I noticed it in the materials list.

Here's a site for purchasing turban cloth (or turban material) and list it as a full Voil cotton.

I'm guessing they mean full voile cotton: (?)

Happy to help, and it's fun to seek and find. :)

Just a note, but the site refers to Turban cloth as *Rubia*. That seems to be a higher grade/higher thread count of cotton than voile.  A search brought up some sites for rubia cotton, but they were all in colors with middle eastern patterns or spangles. I'm sure you could substitute any fine grade cotton for your project.
