Okay, here goes:

DEPEND'N ON: whether I get the property in Kentucky that I am trying to buy, if my online classes do not begin until the 6th, AND I can get the time off from the new job...

It will be myself, my two adult children and one respective spouse, my co-conspirator and three young'ns in tow for at least the weekend.  Will know more by the end of Feb.

Can someone please post some info about lodging available near faire?  Has anyone booked a whole block of rooms just for the rennies?  Any campgrounds nearby?  Anyone want to rent out crash-space on their living room floor? 

If all goes well, I intend to be there for at least two of the three days.

As of the moment, because of budget, preferences and people's memberships to specific chains, no plans are slated to secure a "Rendezvous Hotel".  The following is a prelim list and contact site for some places you might look into if nothing else for budget purposes:

Well, this could be a dream come true.

When my wife and I saw that Rendevous 2009 fell on the same weekend as our 29th anniversary, we thought, "Gee, that'd be nice."

We didn't get our hopes up, however, because even with a year of planning and saving, our plans for a trip to the Texas Renfest for our 25th anniversary fell through.

But just yesterday we received a gift that will allow us to attend Rendevous 2009 -- so I guess this is a long roundabout way of saying, please put us on the list, and we're looking forward to this!
