Jack Daw at Work

This evening for our HHGA happy hour, I took the high road and left my flask at home and had 3 beers instead.

I like mead ... I don't suppose you'll be there next weekend!?   ;D

My favorite mix is "nuts and berries" ... a mix of half Chambourg and half Frangelica.  I'm debating if I want to pack some in my suitcase for the trip (probably asking for trouble) or mix some when I get there.  Hmmm.

This is my mother's favorite drink! We go out and any time she asks for it, the bartenders never have ANY idea how to make it. XD We finally looked the recipe up online so that she can carry it around with her, just in case. ;)

Well, since whiskey (of many different types) is my poison of choice, then I suspect this year, my flask will contain Gentleman Jack or something straightforward and simple, like Bushmill's or maybe Maker's Mark. We'll see.
Having whiskey on my person at faire for the first time ever will be interesting. Maybe I'll actually talk to other humans. Who knows.

We can share a drink or two as that is pretty much what I keep in my flask.. Well, Crown actually, but that's because I keep getting bottles of it as gifts for my birthday... Christmas... etc.  I wonder what that means....?  Hmmm....  Wish I knew what kind of whiskey it was that I had in England, it was sooo very nice.
I don't know what you've heard, none of it is factual, but it's all true.

I have several bottles of whisky at home, but someday I'll have to try some other kind of whiskey.

LadyD,
Oddly...I've never had Crown Royal in my life.

me either

It's very strange. It's utterly ubiquitous. You'd think it would be a drink everyone in the world had had at some point.

Jack Daw at Work

No big deal.  I've never had Crowne Royal before either.  Single-malts, only.  I've had Royal Crown Cola, but that doesn't count.

I've heard this before from your or another.  You may need to prove this to me, Z.  We'll need to trade flasks sometime for a friendly challenge.
