I've found the plain ones, but am really fond of the ones with the fancy, especially celtic,designs...more of a lacing ring/closure combination. I've only seen the fancy ones one the sites where you order a whole peice of garb, and they don't seem to be for sale separately..
Anyone? :)

Check out what Pillaged Village might have. I have ordered Alpine Lacing Rings from them in the past.

Check out the jewelry findings departments of Hobby Lobby, Michael's, etc.  They have some very pretty rings, clasps, ets. that are meant for jewelry but could probably be used for lacing rings.

That's what I did when I didn't have time to got the mail order route. I used some pretty rings from toggle clasps that I got when jewelry findings were 50% off at Hobby Lobby.

This is the only place I buy my lacing rings: http://www.renaissancefabrics.net/cgi-bin/showAll.cgi?id=62  They are inexpensive and work beautifully.  They even look very nice.  NOTE: These are plain brass rings which are important for H/A garb and not fancy.  Most other places have rings that just don't cut it and some even try to sell thin washers as lacing rings.  These are specifically made as lacing rings.  I can't recommend them high enough.
Why can't reality be more like faire?

Hedgehog Handworks also sells them.  (They're the supplier that Timepieces & Crossroads used.)
