Well,

The garb is clean and hanging in the closet, leather goods have been treated with mink oil, daggars and swords oiled and made safe, and I can't help but smile at the thought of the season now gone, and the road trips to SoCal, MRF and TRF planned for later this year.

New garb has been put on order, boots are being made and remade, and a rapier is being shopped for. And what to do for the plans of favors for the upcoming trips?.

Finally, thanks to old friends and new, to the lovely ladies Julieann and Jessann, and of course to the Marquis and Comte for bestowing on me the title of Viscomte du Arcadia and the chance to join the French brotherhood.

It's going to be a busy year!

Thank you for welcoming me and my family when we made the trip down!  We enjoyed ourselves immensely and we will be back next season!!

Maybe I can convince a few of you to journey north to Colorado this summer?  ;)

June 12-August 2.

It's in Larkspur, which is a little less than an hour south of Denver.  If you were to fly into DIA and rent a car, you could drive to Castle Rock, about an hour away, and stay at a hotel there.  It's about a 15 minute drive from Castle Rock to the festival site.  (Of course there are numerous other places to stay, Castle Rock is just where most out-of-towners tend to go, it's the closest "big" place with the most choice in hotels; Colorado Springs is also about a half-hour south of the site.)  If you do what we did when we came to Arizona and drive, it'd probably be about 14-15 hours straight.

But here's the website for our festival...

We'd love to have you!

I wish the wife and I were able to go more than once this year, but alas twas not ment to be. But I have to say once again to every one and all who made our visit not only possible, but so much fun. I hope the situation is better next year and we'll be able to return for more of the fun and frivolity.

Yes, yes, yes,

We can't wait for the Labor Day Weekend either. It's my first time to visit, and for my new royal French garb, should be good, I have been told beer consumed out of your own faire does not count, I am going to see if it is true.

 :'( :'( :'(

I've gone to faire everyday available for a number of years except this one because of my job.

And it really sucked not being able to go as much.  I am happy I got to go at least the times that I did but I didn't feel connected as much this season.  Job trumps faire.

It went by way too fast but then again...maybe that will make it much more exciting next year. :)

I'll see everyone at Churchill's on Friday nights until next year.

And of course I wait with extreme anticipation for Labour Day in Minnesota.

I was kind of  . . . not connected either.  Too much other crap going on.   :(  Next year will be better!
