...when your company requires everyone to take 40 hours unpaid furlough time (which is definitely better than more layoffs!) you debate between scheduling the time around faire, or using the time to find a part-time job to offset the hours missed at work...and make a litte extra coin for faire....

-You gladly and happily sit through 35 pages of "You know you're a rennie if..." and will gladly read more of it!

-Your main goal to get a car is mostly fueled off of being able to go to a Ren Fest practically anywhere without worrying about taking someone else away from work or family to take you there.

-You'd be willing to meet everyone you barely know from Faire anywhere in the world just to chill with them at a faire, even if you were to all camp out in one of the R/Fer's RV's or something.

-You kiss people on the cheek in the mundane world and get funny looks, even if you've known them for years, but you kiss people on the cheek that you've just met at Faire and they love you even more!

~when your co-workers send you text messages that they had just driven by the new faire site

When we bought our current "large" vehicle, we wanted to make sure it had enough room for a camping trip.  And not just a normal camping trip, but a faire camping trip, which involves about 50% more stuff!
