Mary, is that the St. Paul Cathedral?

No, although that is another beautiful place to visit.

This is The Lakewood Memorial Chapel

Historic Profile: The Lakewood Memorial Chapel is an excellent architectural example of the Byzantine style. Its mosaic chapel interior is unmatched in quality in any other Minnesota building. The chapel was designed by locally prominent architect Harry Wild Jones as a mortuary chapel and crematorium for Lakewood Cemetery. Jones patterned the chapel design after Hagia Shophia (537 AD) in Constantinople. Construction of the chapel began in 1908 using St. Cloud Granite for exterior walls and Spanish roll tine for the dome and other roofs. Designed by Charles Lamb, the mosaic chapel interior required the skill of trained artisans in Venice to set the estimated ten million tiles which were later delivered to the United States to complete the mosaics. The total cost of the building exceeded $150,000 and at the time of its completion was the only building in America with a mosaic interior. Lakewood Memorial Chapel is the most elaborate example of Byzantine Mosaic art in Minnesota and may be one of the finest of its type to be found anywhere in the United States.

sorry the photos are not more clear, I was a little nervous as this was a covert operation, this chapel is rarely open to the public, I happened to see the door open and snuck in.

I think thats the Castle in Muskogee, OK

http://www.okcastle.com/

You were correct in that it was the Castle. We had our opening weekend this last week.
Some small corrections....the girl in the last picture isn't a playtron, she's an actual cast member, and one of the lead wenches. Her name is Molly O'Malley (character), and the girls were the Wenches of the Scarlet Pillow.

I am pleased to say, I am the bonnie wee bunny Guido is holding, March O'Hare.
We were dancing the Karaboushka around the Maypole.

We had a rainy weekend for opening, but will hope for great weather on the next.

FYI, Masked Ball is SATURDAY, May 10th....should make for some great pictures!

I'm still getting it down on who the cast members are and which are the playtrons at the Castle. A sure sign of a cast member is that after you shoot their photo, the ladies come up and give you hugs-n-kisses. The hard thing for me is that I have to wander 'round all day without my glasses on and I can't tell people that I've known for years when they walk right by me because after 3 feet.....everything's a blur. It also gives one helluva' headache after a few hours.
Hope next weekend the weather clears up because I hate shooting with a flash outdoors for 6 to 8 hours. My nephew's getting excited to "suit up, boot up, and get strapped" for next weekend.  I'm still slowly processing photos from last week because I shoot everything in RAW mode with my Canon. I may have to find some kind of rain shield or rig some plastic up in case we may still have the storms in the forecast.
Here are a couple more shots of our lovely ladies.....

Anna

What a nice day!  What a nice beach!  Of course, out here in California, we'd thrown in a shark or two to liven things up.

Bodharan, you should take a drive down the west coast next time you visit your brother in Florida.

Our Atlantic coast get's more shark attacks than we do, though I'm sure they are out there.  :o We *did* watch a dolphin feeeding in the bay later this afternoon. Dolphins seem to really love this particular area.

Looks like it was a great day, Anna!  Some friends of our family used to live in Naples and I remember how beautiful the water was on Florida's Gulf Coast.
