Jeanie C. Riley also died yesterday.  The Harper Valley PTA will just have to keep their mouths shut about her forever now.

Someone brought up that with McMahon, Fawcett and Jackson's deaths whether the often-noticed "Celebrity Death Trifecta," is now done.  I'm wondering if there might not be one more.

Way lesser known Sky Saxon also died yesterday, famous in small circles for founding The Seeds.

Now all of these people are "entertainers," but some are more known for music than otherwise.  In that case, we might expect one more from the entertainment field that isn't known for music.  Only time will tell.

You could be right with Swayze.

Of course, if we're talking the common celebrity bond of being household names, then it's done.

It was reported on our local (Nashville) news on Thursday night, so I'm pretty sure that it's true.

My son thought it would be interesting if Michael Jackson had faked his own death to try and live another simpler life.

Aeron's theory is interesting!

Maybe he went back to being a black male!
That way no one would recognize him.  ;D

So far no reports of Jeannie C. Riley's death has hit the internet.
Very strange...... ???

Well, I just had to get to the bottom of it and called the station.  Indeed, it turned out to be a hoax, I missed seeing the correction the next day.  You'd think that local Nashville news would have had that straight!

My apologies.

Maybe Michael Jackson decided to turn himself into Jeannie C. Riley?

I'm just a little tired of the MJ thing already. I think his life was much sadder than his death- that was one disturbed indvidual. It's the kids I feel bad for; who's going to raise them now, the screwed-up family their dad came from? Wow.

Well, since Billy Mays passed this morning, I guess that we could call that as the second #3 in the trifecta.  He had a show on Discovery called "Pitchmen" on Wednesday nights.

People do not die in three's, they die by the thousands every day.  Each life likely meant something to someone and as such is no less important than a rock stars.

I do not buy into the praise many are heaping on celebrity deaths as late but even I have to say...Sheesh, there are a lot of famous individuals passing on lately.
