Queen Bonnie

Alas! The (hopefully) renter was looking at my room! Sorry I could not join you. I think he liked it! Keeping fingers crossed. I will know Monday.  Ask me again another time! Sorry I missed out on your company! Thank you for thinking of me!

Queen Bonnie, I most humbly request a spell.

If you take your 106 degrees along with our 60 degrees, and add them together and divide them in half, then both of our locations could have a nice, comfortable 83 degrees.

Tomorrow is Bristol opening, and though the weather forecasters do call for a partly cloudy day with the highs in the low 80's, a spell from you would be sure to make it happen.

Well I do hope it works though it has been much nicer here in Navasota than the areas around us.... at least in the shade or in the evening... we have had a coolish breeze to make it bearable! But 80's would be SOOOOOO wonderful!  A bit of rain would not hurt either!!!! POOF us again QB!

Lady Renee Buchanan

I will give you all of our rain.  We really haven't had a summer yet.  Last Sunday was nice, sunny & in the low 80's.  The rest of the week, rain and/or in the 60's.  Friday night we had a downpour, and even this morning early it rained.

It was supposed to be nice for Bristol tomorrow (3 hours away NE), but now the forecast shows rain in the afternoon.
Queen Bonnie, another spell, please!

Be careful with those poofs!!  We don't want too many!  No more Ike's....
Got faerie dust?

Queen Bonnie

Magick takes a lot of energy and - no I don't need to whip up another Ike or Katrina!
I have to be sparing with Weather spells! I want Mother Nature to work with me for TRF this year- so need to get on her good side!
I would love rain and 70's here- but alas- tis not to be. My poor crispy yard and garden!
Glad you had a nice first day, Lady Renee! Send us your rain!!!

All the yards down here are looking pretty crispy.  League City has mandatory water rationing and several other towns have voluntary conservation orders.

Have I ever mentioned that I HATE Texas summers?  :P :P
Got faerie dust?

Queen Bonnie

I don't hate Summer here but the heat is getting me down a bit.  We need a break soon! I can cope with this better than cold!
15 years of Vermont winter really was a downer!

I agree with Queen Bonnie on the heat vs cold issue.  28 years in Montana, where they only have 2 seasons (Winter & Road Construction), and  23 years in Texas have convinced me that July & August in Houston is still easier to live with than Jan & Feb. in the Great White North.

Queen Bonnie, at least half of your spell worked!  The weather at Bristol yesterday (Sunday) was perfect.  Most of the day it was in the 70's, with a high of about 82 in the afternoon.  It was wonderful weather for our first day at faire.  Grammercy!   ;D

! will try for the 8th- but I think Mother Nature has the upper hand right now! Hot and dry seems to me the pattern lately here! Alas!
I'd enjoy cool and a bit of rain.

The weather is hot, but hopefully this extreme will help us appreciate the coming of fall and winter. Just think what our winter might be like! Just maybe us enduring this weather will bring us a beautiful TRF season.
Don't forget to smell the roses, but watch out for the thorns!
