How adorable, but kind of sad too.... HOW did the kitten get pink?

Reminds me of the story Mollie Sugden aka Mrs. Slocombe of "Are you Being Served?" told about doing a promo tour for the show in Australia were they colored a cat pink.   The poor thing sent all night cleaning itself.

I am actually a dog groomer and there are several ways to dye a animal.  I once tye-dyed my wire fox for halloween and used Kool-aid in conditioner for that one, it gives a more vivid color.  there are also specialty dyes they sell that last longer and are MUCH more vivid but pricy. Answer a few questions?

I had a miniature american eskimo dog for years, (white, thick fur, and extremely fluffy) and on occasion would attack her with leftover easter egg dye, including the vinegar. Nice vivid colors that would stay as long as the hair did.... Actually got awards for 'most colorful dog' at local pet charity events. Unfortunately I can't find any pictures at the moment.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with catsup.

Hmm interesting, I have not heard of that one yet, but it sounds reasonable and like it would work.  The only thing that I would worry about is irritating or drying out the skin.  I would prefer to try it out on a small part of the skin first to see how it does for at least a day.  sounds like you had no problems with yours though, thats great!  just a question, how long did you let it sit before washing it out?
