Thanks guys!  It's not perfect but I am really excited to have it done right. ;)

I would love to redo the skirt with cartridge pleats but I don't think there is enough fabric to make it work.

Lovely job and well done with the channels for the boning.  I have used the paint stick trick for  a stomacher and it worked out well!  It was a bit short for our purpose so next time I will get a 25 cent yard stick to whittle down.

I managed to get some longer sticks the last time I bought paint.  Almost the perfect length (and free to boot)! ;)

I have Kathryn's corset and Bodice muslin ready to send to her. Once she gets that, make adjustments to the muslin where needed, I can get her ensemble finished up.

Another project that my apprentice has been working on is coming out nicely. The fabric for the gown is heavier than most cotton Brocade. The Overskirt is not as full as most skirts should be and has knife pleats. The Bodice is at the shoe repair for grommetting. There will be 32 grommets all together for side lacing. The Modesty panels are ready to sew onto the Bodice when it comes back. This project is for a local client who will be working at one of the shops at the MNRF!

Then on to 2 more projects for clients to be finished and ready for the opening of the MNRF on 22 August.

Thank you all again for your suggestions to upgrade my daughters red and white gown.  The sleeves are coming together and I wondered if everyone lines their sleeves even if the inside really won't show?  I know it would add body, but also un-needed warmth.
Here is the border we chose for the foreskirt.  A mix of pearls and cording to match the pattern in the stomacher and gold to tie it together.  We chose the inverted "T" pattern since I couldn't finish the entire front in time.    Wondered if this was what you all meant.  Thanks again!

That will add a lot to the fabric!!  Great job!!!

Perfect!  And i always line the sleeves.  Use a cotton or a linen the help with heat
