Staples of the Campgrounds...Mainly Thorn

I didn't once see Top Hat or Thorn last year. I hear Top Hat is very much to be seen, I guess I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, but what of Thorn? Does anyone have any news on him and his going ons ever since that "debacle that happened a couple of years ago with his blessings?

I know all I know through the grapevine and meeting the right people....And I have met some good and verily interesting people along the way....God I love RenFest.

If you are talking about Thorne of Chaos, he's still around. Saw him in his truck the other day.

I had no idea he was of Chaos..the few moments I had to talk with him we didn't get to delve into alot about himself, as he was busy and blessings aplenty. Is he still blessing? Either way, I must find him this year...one of the coolest people I have met out there.

Top Hat moved out of the state, I think he lives in Louisiana now.  He has a new girlfriend and I saw him ONCE at TRF last year... but not in as high profile of a gig as he usually is due possibly to the girlfriend, possibly to growing up, not sure??

Thorn was at TRF last year, but also not in as high profile of a gig.  I saw him a handful of times.  I didn't see him nearly as much as the previous year when the debacle happened!!  I know he's trying to stay more out of the limelight for that reason.  He's also been dressing a tad different since he's been coming to fair with his son alot.  So there's a chance you didn't recognize him.  He also wasn't partying it up as late night due to his son and other reasons which are a bit private for on here.

thank you so much for enlightening me...I will miss his blessings, but glad to know that he is sharing it with the wee little one...pretty soon I will have to tone it down meself for my kiddo...but she's still a little too young to hold it against me yet...so there is still time...Ah..Top Hat....He did stop by last year for a wee bit...just enough to hit on our women and set some grass on fire..I will miss that fire bug...and his Mad Hatter appeal...kinda.

I think I remember seeing him opening weekend of Faire for sure. Not that I have much to add, 'cause I've been hearing pretty much the same thing: keeping a low profile.

So here's a pic of Thorn's son and my niece at TRF this past fall.  You can see Thorn in the background also... wearing alot more than normal, hehe!!

That is indeed quite a bit more than I remember him in. I remember upon visiting his camp one year he pounced me from a tree..or some other high ground...suffice to say, I was pounced. I think he was aiming for the blonde to my right, but I am going to say I charmed him my rather gender crossing boyish charms and charisma....plus I had some of the King's currency in my hand...and she didn't. Their costumes are so darling. Putting mine in bells this year....can anyone guess why?
