Screw Weight Watchers at TRF. I'm living on V8's and rabbit food now to save up a reserve in order to pig-out on opening weekend.

Amen to that! There's the necessary turkey leg, scottish eggs, all of the food in greece, germany, spain...oh forget it, it's all good!

Mouse they serve Chaucers at TRF, I know I find it in the bellydancing area...can not remember what that area is called just know how to get there.  My favorite is Redstone Mead...I fill my flask and bring it in.

If you look at this thread and follow the links, you will find how to adjust the original loki to other flavors.  Good Luck!

The Agora!  ;D  That is where the belly dancers are and Christophe.  Yummy gyros and spanikopita (errr or however you spell it, lol)!

Sadly, my samping of faire fine foods (triple word score alliteration) is muchly limited to a single gyro, perogis, turkey legs, some god awful meat thing, funnel cakes, and Imperial Stout..and maybe a slice of pizza..the more exotic fair, scottish eggs and the like, I have not tried.

Didn't know where to post this, but I am incredibly excited to be a part of TRF this year and the best part is that I will be working at the faire!  I moved to the area in May, and have been waiting for the weeks to roll by until the faire starts.  I'm hoping to meet some of you great people and to fully immerse myself in the TRF experience!

Okay!  Who here (raise your hands) does NOT know that Spec's sell Chaucer's Mead?
1960, Jersey Village, Langham Creek, Cypress-Rosehill, and the one on Hwy 6 at Huffmiester all know me very well.
And I have tried to find the WW points! Not enough information, so it is pointless.
Take my hand and walk with me through life, or send me in the general direction, then point and laugh!

Oh..I know very well...that and American Honey, Blue Moon Belgium Wheat, Shiners Black and Bock..and of course the immoral Guinness Draught.....There was a guy form Missouri I met at faire...said he couldn't get Shiner for under 15 dollars there..moved to Texas, 7 Dollars a six pack...He was said to have been drunk for nine weeks..for those that can count, that is TRF season, plus one. Best time I have had just shooting the breeze with a patron at faire at the campgrounds yet.

Specs is the best!  They have my Redstone Mead too.  And the good stuff to make Sweet B*tches with.  Speaking of Shiner have any of you tried the new Smokehaus?

43 more days! :D
I share Mouse's sentiments. :D It's so nice to have a forum to go to now on the off-season. :)

As for where they sell the mead-- I'm pretty sure they sell it over by the Dove Meadow stage (think Tartanic and Wine & Alchemy) as well. ^^
Oh... Shiny!

I've bought it by the bottle at Sea Devil so I know they do there
