Love that shot.  It's dripping color all over my laptop.

Side question:  How do you like Smugmug's hosting?  Been thinking of moving over there.

//and since this is "Picture of the Day!"...

Thanks.  I really like smugmug.  So easy to use.

I'm pretty sure that's the way the Minnesota Renaissance Festival looks.   ;)

Actually taken last year at the Green Man March at MDRF.

Also last year, on a rainy day.

Last weekend. :) Final joust on Sunday.

We went to a housewarming party for my brother-in-law and his girlfriend this weekend. They bought some property at auction for a good price. The property was a nudist camp in the 70's. It has a couple of ponds, and there was still a boat from the camp around. My father-in-law tried it out, it didn't leak, so he gave my four-year-old son Ian a ride. My brother-in-law's dog Bo jumped in too. I had to grab the camera. This was the best shot. I love the look of pure joy on Ian's face.

Two from opening weekend of MiRF.  Here's hoping I can manage to limp through another day this weekend (viva le back injuries!).  If anyone finds a dead photographer lying behind a tree at MiRF this weekend, strip the body of camera gear and please notify my next of kin.

I must compliment everyone on these new images. Absolutely stunning!
VENI, VIDI, VELCRO! Spelling and grammatical errors are beyond my control, it's the way I'm wired.

OK, so who is that stunning woman in yellowish gold at MiRF?  I absolutely adore her gown and even more her crown... I'd love to know where she bought the crown at if anyone had her contact info?

That is our Queen! She's pretty cool eh? I believe she goes by the name Madge Estes here on the forum. The dress if brand new for this years festival.
