Well, they don't float, so technically they make the hat heavier, but not noticably.   I specifically instructed patrons that the balloons on MY head were not one of their targets.  They were eventually popped though when I went over a hay bale for a mask.  Got a nice reaction from the crowd for that move though, so it was worthwhile.
