And now for something a bit different.   :D

Purple dupioni silk doublet gown /snip/

Bow to the Purple. Worship the Purple!

Okay, all these great doublets are making me twitch for my own.

I know - if I try it I'll like it.

Excellent job, Lady S!!!

zthe new Elizabethan Tallo Hat I made last week for my husband to wear with his garb...

I had some left over Black Vwelveteen and trim. The Earl needed a new hat.

I absolutely love love love the new outfit Artemisia!!  I even think I remember your original design pic.  Looks stunning, better than i imagined.  Especially the black pipping down the front of the bodice.  Looks wonderful!!  Did you make the clockwork watch as well?

Thank you! Yep, made the necklace and the arm bracer. Here's a shot since it can't be seen in the others pics.

The arm bracer was a piece of soft black leather, an old clock that my hubby gave me (he used to own a clockshop) and some cool doo-dads I found on sale at Michaels.

I asked someone on the steampunk livejournal how to design one. They said get a bunch of clockparts and start gluing stuff on top of stuff. That's what I did.
