There's never any rest for the wicked, Doug!!

Now what we need is a great Tudor Men's ensemble to go with the Women's.

That is the plan.  I just won't promise exactly how long it will take.  :)

Margo is the Goddess of patterns on the scale that she does patterns. Give her my congratulations on a job well done. The gown I wear in my Profile photo is made from her pattern as Mary, Queen of Scots.

Mine came in the mail today!  I dread saying it, but I'm excited for the end of the current season so that I can start my first Tudor gown...  :)

Unilady - Margo says a Venetian is definitely on her list, sometime after we get the Tudor Men's done.

Everyone - all pre-orders have now shipped, so if you've ordered the Tudor Lady's pattern, it is on its way.  From here on out, all orders will be shipped immediately.

Margo and I are looking forward to seeing the results of our customer's efforts using the Tudor Lady's pattern!

Mine came this afternoon!!  HUZZAH!!!  The instruction Booklet is in a large 3 ring binder with the Elizabethan ensembles. Can't wait for the Tudor Men's Ensemble package. Don't take too long in getting that one out.

I will be making the Gabled Hood First!!!

So, has this pattern made into homes yet?  And if so, has anyone made the dress?

Oh yeah, I've had mine for a couple of months. I haven't started yet bc of a huge home remodel going on right now. That means I have no sewing area until it's done *sniffle*

I have the pattern and the fabric - both are sitting in the middle of my sewing area.  I'm currently reading through the pattern, and I hope to get started in the next few weeks.  I'll admit, I'm a little intimidated--only because I want to get the fit just right.

That's what's stopping me, too.  My last early Tudor project came to a screeching halt last summer because of fit problems, and I have weird measurements (my shoulder measurement is so small it's off Margo's chart, but I'm also very curvy).  My plan is to have Milord do another full set of measurements to start, and then ask for measurement/sizing advice on the Yahoo group.  I have a couple of projects (my corset, some mundane things, the Gimli tunic, and, oh yeah, my new book ::)) to take care of first, but I hope to tackle it this spring.

Maybe we should have a sew-along for this?
