In today's forecast: sunny till noon, with a high of 89, followed in the early afternoon by thunderstorms and a blizzard by sunset. Low tonight of 22, with a high of 10 frillion tomorrow

Texas weather is only out done by Colorado weather. Here, if you don't like the weather, wait a minute. In Colorado, it doesn't matter what weather you like or dislike, just pause and count to 10. Seriously. I lived there for 2 1/2 years. I saw it first hand.

Kind of like when someone told me, after i had just moved to this great state, that it can rain in the front yard and the sun be out in the back yard... i thought, "no freaking way" until a week later...

Oh, c'mon now... that's almost a direct quote from Will Rogers, and he said it about Oklahoma!  LOL  Only place I've ever been where I've seen the rain follow the yellow line of I-35 as it curved back and forth across the Washita river.  Only rained on the west side of the line, for miles. 

It does tend to be pretty unpredictable all over the part of the country, doesn't it?

About two years ago I had to take my motorcycle to the shop for an estimate. My co-workers tracked my location by following the only tiny thundershower in Houston on weather radar.
