Texas weather is only out done by Colorado weather. Here, if you don't like the weather, wait a minute. In Colorado, it doesn't matter what weather you like or dislike, just pause and count to 10. Seriously. I lived there for 2 1/2 years. I saw it first hand.

Especially at the higher elevations, like Estes Park.

I have witnessed the fine edged shower lines around Houston.  Truly bizarre and amazing.

To skew the countdown a wee bit, only one week and 10 hours from right now before I hitch up the trailer and take my place in line with the others.  Of course, for me that will be dependent on whether my customers leave Friday or not.  I sure hope I don't have to work Friday.

I am excited...
sort of...
Why does money have to do that horrible thing of disappearing when you need it.
There is not enough time to do what I want to.  :-\

I am so ready for an escape from the real world.

College kids have this disease, Poormanitis ..... it sucks but I hear after a few years of study, one or two pieces of paper and someone liking us enough to give us a job, it may go away.....

But I second you there Elo!

Get yourself a "NET SPEND" or similar card!
Put in $25.00 to $50.00 each paycheck, mine comes straight out of my check!

Now here is the HARD PART!!!

Forget it there until Faire!

Decide what/where you will spend it, i.e. gathering camp items (food and such)
or at Faire (food, garb, what have you).

Careful though some cards do set a limit as to how much you can load.
Take my hand and walk with me through life, or send me in the general direction, then point and laugh!

Taffy Saltwater

Also some cards will limit the number of times you can use them in a specific time, as my sister found out during an out of town trip when she really needed to use her money.

Are we there yet?

Looks like I shall be headed down to TRF this year, I was much saddened to nat be able to make it last year.  I will be there for the weekends of the 14-15 and 21-22...no point in drving 21 hours one way and only getting to be there for one weekend.

Sadly I live very much paycheck to paycheck...I am hoping to get financial aide so I don't have tuition payments to go with it all...

Can't argue with that logic!   :)
