I will. I am asthmatic and my back has started hurting when I cough and I am coughing up yellow and I have coughed up a speck of blood. It may have been from my throat because I am coughing so hard. But it scared the living daylights out of me.

So, I've been up since 5 a.m. trying to get all my projects organized, including personal, business, and faire related, had 4 meetings this evening, 3 tele-conferences, drove about 150 miles today,and  it's 12:45 a.m. Tuesday morning with only four, (4) days to go and I'm still awake... oops, sorry about that, Fraser...

4 days... *sigh*

WHAT A NIGHT!

heres the rundown:

6 pm- Arrive at Conroe Urgent Care
6:15 pm- Sent away from Urgent Care with strict instructions to "get thyself to a hospital"
7 pm- Arrive at St. Lukes Hospital in The Woodlands
11:15 pm- I am FINALLY taken to the ER to be looked at
12 am- recieve IV with steroids
12:15 am- Start a round of 2 breathing treatments
12:30 am- Have a Whataburger... first real meal of the day
1 am- Discharged from the hospital
1:30 am - Walgreens for medicine
2 am- arrive home
2:35 am- post the schedule of my night on the forums lol

I have flu and bronchitis. The steroids are making me feel much better and they have given me a rescue inhaler/antibiotics and steroids that I should finish my rounds of on saturday morning.
I am on STRICT orders to rest until friday and I will be happy to do that. I am going to take every measure to get well so I do not miss opening weekend... and GERMAN weekend to boot! I want to be tip top for all you guys that are coming out this weekend!
I hate needles and that IV was horrible... but they whole time they were sticking it in my arm I was thinking
"I AM DOING THIS FOR FAIRE, I AM DOING THIS FOR FAIRE"
and what better thought is there to get your mind off bad things!

That's true dedication right there! I'm just glad you're okay. Don't push yourself too hard this weekend, we'll all love to see your smiling face, but not one that ends up being even sicker afterwards.

At least I get to go out of town this weekend, even if it isn't to Faire... and it's camping even!!!  But... it's not Faire, so it's still not the same.  Going through severe RENvie over here, also...

Think I'm having psychosomatic sniffle sympathy with you Fae- it's claritin, liquids ettc for me- i will NOT get sick for opening weekend!!!
