haha i forgot my tickets once last season... i made my friend get off the highway until we found a kinko's so i could print them out. XD

@Fae! Try and get as much rest until Faire! I don't normally take meds, so I can't give you any advice there. ^^;; haha But you must make it out to faire this weekend!! *punches fist in air determinedly* ^^

It will definitely be a chilly one Friday night and Saturday morning.  Bring lots of blankets.  If you use an air mattress it helps to put foam mats under it to insulate it from the ground.  We always throw a queen size foam cushion, found at walmart, on top of ours.  Instantly turning it into an insulated pillow top.  Makes for some very cozy Ren Faire camping.

We used to use an old wool army blanket between the air mattress and bottom sheet- lol now we just put sleeping bags on top of the mattress!

My next big WANT is the queen size sleeping bag- best of both worlds- and warmer that way too!

rethink your footware- i am wearing my merrell waterproof boots- not really ren-fit, but my leather mary janes would leave me with ICKY wet feet all day, even if it only rains on Friday- best to not take the chance...

(course I'm hoping to get that pair of Sandlar rose-theme half boots Ive been oogling for so long, but that's another matter)

I normally just do air mattress and sleeping bag when it's cold. And many, many layers of clothing. haha

I might make a run to town... 1st run by myself since sunday when i arrived here. I need to go to wally world and think about getting some warm things for me so I don't get all rusty in the lungs by saturday morning. Mucinex is good too... need to get that. Yay faire..

RUN INTO TOWN= My parents live 15 miles away from willis and conroe... a brief jaunt for the healthy but a long hard road for those that are ailing!

I forgot toilet paper once - not too bad, but inconvenient. Also a hammer/mallet for the tent stakes.

What other weird things have I forgotten? Oh yeah, ditto on safety pins and socks. Serving spoons if you are cooking: so you don't have to use stupid little plastic ones...  Oh yeah, and rain ponchos. Rain ponchos are awesome. Most of the time you don't need them, but when you do, they rock.
