HUZZAH!  When i started this, 98 days ago, i never would've thought that there would be over 1050 posts, 8360 views & 70 pages worth of everyones comments and views.

HUZZAH! We are upon the eve of the 35th anniversary of the greatest faire that there is and thank you, King George, for bringing it to the Houston area all those years ago.  It's become part of all of our lives.

HUZZAH!  To the people that I've met here, on R/F, and have made me feel at home... and the members of Clan McLotofus who excepted me as one of their own, Thank You.  Try to stay dry out there, today and raise one to me tomorrow!

HERE IT IS!

1!!!  1!!! 1!!!  One day till opening Cannon!!

JA VOL!!!!

Oct 9  Tonight
Showers early, then cloudy overnight. Low 56F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%.
Oct 10  Tomorrow
Mostly cloudy skies. High 74F. Winds NNE at 5 to 10 mph.
Oct 10  Tomorrow night
Partly cloudy skies in the evening, then becoming cloudy overnight. Low around 60F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph.
Oct 11  Sunday
Occasional showers possible. Highs in the low 70s and lows in the mid 60s.

LET US HOPE that the few showers on Sunday 30% chance of rain skirt magnolia by.
There was actually one point where I was driving up there and there were large storms brewing and they were supposed to attack magnolia... I got on site and I SWEAR it was the only sunshiny place in miles, I watched as the clouds went right around faire... it was awesome! Faire has magic... if we all believe and tap our heels together 3 times and clap our hands a bunch.... the magic will win! I believe it!

living less than 30 miles east of faire, I can say this- the skies opened up and s**t potatoes. Massive downpour in just a short amount of time, so flooding WILL be an issue. On the good side, you WILL know where the high ground is, it'll be the only place you can set up camp without the use of SCUBA gear :D

omg.. I am now praying for the saftey of the inside of my tent.... I guess I need to bring extra towels and blankets JUST IN CASE the ones inside are flooded!
