I'm not sure if you can see the fiber optics in this shot but you can see the tubes...
Nothing clever to say here.  Not enough caffine yet.

This is all I have to say about that picture:

*Hi Groomporter!*  We are playing the heck out of our new game, Glaukshouse (OK, I can't spell in German but you know the one I mean).

The mask was plain white that I had painted by my artist friend then I added the jewels for sparkle.

This is the Henrician Coif from Tudor Tailor.  Quick, fun project--and soooo cute!!

Looks GREAT!

I've been meaning to bang one of those out, with a matching over partlet... I hope mine comes out as nice as yours did!

Thanks!  It went together in no time, but I thought the fit was a little snug, and I've seen other costumers say the same thing.

This is my pirate hat. It was costume made by Renee, who is a very talented young hat maker (http://www.artfire.com/users/eccentricadventurerssupplyco). I wanted something that had flare, but didn't want a lot of feathers. This is the end result.

Front view:

Right Side: Yes, I have a little sign that says "Knock Knock." A lady at a booth suggested it a few weeks earlier and I couldn't say no.

Left side view: The only change I made was to the original button, which wasn't quite what I was looking for. So, after a trip to Joan's and about 20 minutes of work, I had a button I liked a bit more. It also has a nice feather pin.

Alas, my hat was stolen at this past years show at BARF.  I will most likely never get it back, but it was all hand made.  Oh well, here it is none the less.  If you do see it though please PM me!

Sorry for your loss :-(...

I've got one more year on my current costume. I really like your layered look.

One of my former groups (the Gentlemen Adventurers) used a similar look. But there's was a more "rugged" (using leathers and wool) as opposed to the lighter more courtly look of yours!
