SCA?

anyone here in the SCA been in the SCA want to be in the SCA??
I was in for about 20+ years moved to Huffman Texas and the groups around here haven't been as welcoming as in Austin. Now the Ren fair groups have been very friendly!!

Three people were walking along a railway track: A Mundane, A Rennie, and an SCAer when a train came rushing toward them. The Mundane stepped off the track not wanting to get hurt. The Rennie took up arms, yelled "DRAGON" and rushed toward the train. The SCAer stopped and pointed at the train, stating "Hey, that's not period at-*Train hits*. I keed, I have nothing but respect for the SCA. But, in all jest, it is a great joke.

Whenever SCA topics arise, it always brings back fond memories of the SCA participants of years past at TRF, and the great contests they had at the Battle Mound.

And fond memories of that person falling through the bleacher boards in their site and alot of crap beggining to go downhill form there. *sigh* had a good thing and let it slip through lazy fingers.
