Good shots Zardoz.  Who ended up winning the costume contest?

Here are mine from this weekend:

Valt- WOW! The photos from this weekend are incredible. Makes me wish I was there even more.

But this is my favorite- and if she says anything badly of it, I'll beat her for it.
I need a copy of this to go in my faire-mily photo album.

Still Meggers, just a little more grown up now. :)

Good job Valt!  You handled the hard light well, I noticed in some shots the angle made for a loop light, in others you were using it as a rim from behind.  Nice work!

My wife discussing Peeps with the magikal Queen of everything.

It was nice to meet you and Shelley on Saturday, Zardoz.  Her "Shelley - The Peep Slayer" garb was outstanding!   :)

Thanks Valt, I generally carry my camera around and forget to use it, so I end up with like 10 photos.  There were so many photo ops that day, I took about 150 pics, and in spite of what my wife says, only about 15 were of Jenny from Circa Paleo!

As for the contest, I think this green fellow got first;

I'm not sure who came in second, but my friend Sandy here got third place;

Yeah, that's the grin of a winna!

Thanks Meg.  I am assuming you mean the one of Bonny?  Let me know and I can send you the original for a print if you like.

Thanks Melkar.  I think its still about 50% skill, 50% luck at the moment.  I appreciate the tips you gave me.

I meant to make it back to get some shots of Circa Paleo myself, but didn't really make it back to the Sherwood area but once, and a glance at the crowd back there turned me around real quick.  Congrats to Sandy on third place, she did have a very lovely set of wings.

Yeah, when I take a picture with someone, I don't really notice it, but that is really funny. I am 6 foot 3 with those boots on. So I tend to slouch a little unknowingly when I take a picture with someone.
