I want to get in touch with either Captain Leo or Captain Red of the Pirate Auction at faire, Next year, not this coming year, I want to propose to Mistress Mouse and, well, pirates are amongst he favourites things, and I want to ask them if they could play a part in it. My plan is to do something during Trust the Pirate possibly. Heck, I will even buy in advance what they are asking for just for taking up his time. Hopefully not. I am sure palms will need to be greased. Anyways, as convoluted and not thought out as this sounds, now you know why I am doing it a year in advance. If you gents and ladies wish to add or suggest an entirely new thing, I am for it. If it's at faire, it won't matter the what...I just want to make sure it's memorable.

Just a suggestion, but there is quite a group of r/f members that walk parade, perhaps purchase roses, or other such sentimental thing, and have each member hand her one as they go by, so that by the end she has a bouquet.

And a Knarlyknot Vase to put them in ...  ;)   ;D

Oh, that I like...oh yes, that I realllly like. Do tell me more..and yes, I would indeed put them in a knarlyknot vase. That sounds like a good thing to throw her off, a primer to the Pirate auction I have planned. But, even if I abandon that idea, the primer sounds like a good stand alone idea on it's own. I do hope Don Juan and Miguel will be there next year. To have them involved would make her year..NAY! her life! I do hope I can get it hammered out and perfect, but of course you, "The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry."

Its Captain Liam.. and I know him very well. In fact, he's one of my best friends. Outside of faire we travel the country together playing paintball.... he's a riot.

Anyway... Im positive that he and Madam Nina would be thrilled to help you out. Shoot me a PM and I'll give you my personal email and contact information so i can get you in touch with him... easiest thing would be to arrange a meeting between you guys at one of the 3 remaining weekends if you're planning to attend. He's obvioulsy very busy between the two shops but he always finds time to hang out with us for a bite or a drink.

He's a GREAT guy and would no doubt love the idea.

Thank you so much. I always figured him for a romantic at heart, though he appears kinda gruff. Now, it's Liam. Why the heck have peple been calling him Leo all these years?!

i have no idea... im assuming we're talking about the same guy, the bald'ish guy with the black goat'ee .. the one that owns pirates cove and does the auctions. ..  Tha'td be Liam.. short for William... hehe

never heard him called Leo... its sounds close i guess.

Mouse

I suppose I heard Leo due to my getting old. He's had to suffer people with bad hearing all these years...Thank goodness I was never able to peg him alone and talk to him like I have had in mind for a bit. That would of been embarrassing, and yes, most definitely the same man. And Liam, much better of a name in my opinion.

Breandan

getting either Liam or Nina to stand still for more than thirty seconds at faire is nigh on impossible. They take workaholic to whole new levels, and are both frenetically running around trying to manage two hyper-busy shops, prevent thefts (they are one of the most-targeted stores at faire, and have had to step up measures significantly), and then handle the auctions. You might as well try to get a ferret on meth to sit still, you'd have more success.

Mouse

Thank you Breandan. Now I MUST work a ferret on meth into the proposal. I simply must 3('o')E
