We went last year and had a great time.  It is an indoor ren faire.  Here is the info I found on another board:

Come and experience an amazing step back in time with great food, fierce swordsmen, amazing acts, and some of the best Renaissance merchants to be found. Bellydancers, bagpipers, musicians and armsmen abound, not to mention Her Majesty's Court and a very special High Tea with Queen Elizabeth to be held on Sunday of the two day event. We'll also be holding a two day Renaissance Costume Contest with the Grand Prize being awarded by Queen, Court and audience at the Queen's Tea. Admission is just $7 per day. Admission to the catered High Tea is 32.00 (limited to 50 tickets so get yours soon)

Their website is     http://www.ravenworksip.com    but they said it probably won't be updated with the faire info until next week at the earliest.  Someone who had contacted them said the dates are Dec. 5th & 6th, times 10 a.m. to 8p.m. The tea is on Sunday.  I don't remember there being a tea last year, but we might have just missed it.  Anyway, it is inside an empty - huge - store in a shopping center, which they decorated nicely.  They had nice vendors with good products at fair prices, good entertainment, and we plan on going again.

Is anyone else planning of attending?  Know I will be there on Saturday for sure and possibly Sunday. It'll be my first faire going in garb so I'm nervous already :-)  Looking forward to meeting other R/F members.        Linda

verdant1, Steve and I can only go on Sunday, due to our business.  Our friends Carol and Jim from Bristol, although not forum members, will be there.  And I think wildthingjew, who is a forum member, and her daughter, Miss Katie Scarlett, are going.

Steve and I wear the R/F pins, so if you do go on Sunday, we shouldn't be too hard to find, since it is very small, so look for us.

verdant1, did you go to the faire on Sunday?  Steve and I were there, but no one came up to us, and we had our R/F pins on our garb.

Lady Rene,  sorry we didn't make it to Madison this weekend.  The weather forcast orginally called for snow/sleet and coming from north of Green Bay didn't seem like a good choice.  Plan to get to Bristol for sure, and the new faire to be held in Door County, WI in June.  Happy Holidays!  Linda
