Countdown to Opening Cannon 2010

CAN'T.WAIT.

Started "packing" last night since I'm staying at the BF's this weekend (he's right around the corner from faire!) and MAN do I have a lot of stuff.  I'm so excited though!  If only I can make it through the rest of this week!

I have to work 6-6 all week. I am gonna be so tired!! I have to get the kids to get thier outfits together and I have not had time to finish making my own top. Don't know what top I will wear. But can't wait to meet everyone!!

Been on site setting up new tent....... we like MANY other vendors have been moved around...   

So... Meet and Greet to sign in and get yer hugs....giggle... still at Things from Rings booth....we are now more in the middle of the lane...

The tent is now a 12x12 cream and burgundy tall tent!!!!  For those that are new there is an R/F banner hanging in the front.... under a big yellow flag with a red griffon on it!~

OK, so, I have to get up early in order to get ready and bake cinammon-raisin foccaccia and drive two hours to get there in time for the opening day tailgate at 8:30-9 ...

It'll be worth it ...

By the way, did anyone catch the weather forecast for Tampa for opening day?

High of 54, low of 39.

I realize for folks coming from northern regions, that may not sound bad. But here in Florida we refer to that as YEAH-RIGHT-LIKE-I'M-GONNA-GO-OUTSIDE-IN-THAT weather.

Lotsa layers, even our kilted lads, cloaks, warm hats, and stay in the sunshine!

Ya'll better warm up by the time St. Moldens comes around, I'm tired of cold and snow!

Oh, and why hasn't the website been updated?
Twig is not at our faire, I don't care to see Twig and I'm tired of looking at her picture.
So why can't we have a website that is exclusively OURS?

And no idea who the entertainment is. Guess we find out when we get there.
Frankly, I think Seamus will be the best entertainment we have.

For those of you who don't have a warm cloak, consider picking up some polar fleece from Joanns or Walmart. It's pretty cheap and won't require any sewing. If you have any pieces leftover bring them along to faire. I guarantee you'll find some poor freezing soul in peasant garb to pass it along to.

I'm bummed about no Empty Hats (Boo, hisss) but they'll be at Skipper's in March.

King Sings will be in place next weekend.  Lots of other stuff he's doing this weekend made it most difficukt to schedule...

OMG... less than 19 hours before morning meeting.  Lots to do still, so I'm getting back to work
