So True! I drove down to the Springs yesterday to go for a hike and I had to stop myself from going into Larkspur - the weather was perfect Faire weather.

Perfect faire weather? would that be 150 degrees with sunshine like a laser beam? or torrential downpours punctuated by waaaay to close lightning strikes?

Chilly slightly foggy morning, with the promise of clear sailing afternoon.

Although my perfect faire weather is drizzling. Just enough rain to dampen the ground and get rid of the dust and grumpy patrons so that whoever is left is having that much more fun! Although I love those torrential downpours too. Mud Joust, Mud Joust, Mud Joust!

Hot days, so I can help cool the ladies off with the cold flasks  or cold days to warm up from the stuff in said flasks.   ;D

holierthanthou

I actually think it is perfect when it is raining.   ;D  The bubble people come out and my brother and I make "first contact".  I also like when the rain makes Matt the harpist have to come into the shop and play inside.  However... my new character will not like the rain so much.  Too much stuff that can get heavier if it gets wet.

I like the sunny days too.

I don't like any lightening though.  I'm not afraid of it, but once you have been electrocuted and survived, you can always feel the electricity in the air.

Don't worry all when the lightning starts i will stand out in the open with my sword up that way you all will know where to stay away from.

The Baroness and I are of two minds regarding what constitutes the best Faire weather.  On the one hand, we like having big crowds of newbies to play with on those warm and sunny days.  On the other hand, we love those rainy days when the only folks there are employees and fanatics.

My favorite days are the ones when its slighly cloudy and light rains and on and off, and its nice and cool . It puts a kink in my business but its fantastic when your not broiling or shivering. The crowds are nicer too no over heated grumps.

you guys are gonna give me a heart attack with the countdown!

I love the days it is not so hot and doesn't pour all day long. I love the days we get to the grounds and the wind is blowing nicely and the temps are in the mid to high 50's and the highest temp of the day is in the 70's to 80's. I like a little rain to keep the dust and dirt down but not enough to raise humidy levels

I do not like the days that it is so hot and muggy out it makes you miserable no matter what garb you wear.

I hope this year is a good one.
