Don't know if we can make BARF next year, but Louisiana sounds intriguing.  Is there a thread where we can discuss more, so as to not hijack this thread?

Oh, and this was the first tailgate Steve and I had ever attended at faire, and we were blown away both days.  The quiche & biscuits were delish, and though I never got a Mimosa, I did drink a Mudslide on Saturday (not the Molotov type!), and I think I even gave Leinad a hug on Sunday for that wonderful Dunkin Donuts coffee, which we can't get up here in the Galena area.  Thank you to everyone for making that weekend  so great.

Wait a minute, I stopped reading there ... YOU NEVER GOT A MIMOSA?

I'm sorry. We failed you.

Lady Renee Buchanan

Thanks, Kate, it was great to meet you, too. Iain, no,no, no, you didn't fail me!  Kahlua is my favorite in the world, so since my drinking is limited due to my kidney transplant, I chose the Mudslide.

But there's always next time......... ;)

And the next mudslide (molotov or not!).

We love you, Renee!

Hopefully I will no longer be a diabetic next year and can enjoy samples of everyone's wonderful cooking skills.  My last count was 120 and 110 is the high norm, so I'm sure I can get way below that with the rate I'm going!  Huzzah to cutting sugar, starches, and flour out of my diet!   ;D

Too bad our entire tailgate consists of those three things!  :-P

My hats off to you Esperanza. That's tough to do. Maybe just a bite or two wouldn't hurt and then..maybe a fresh fruit bowl would be a nice addition to the table.

If I can make it next year I'll bring something like that. While it is a lot early for me to even say I'll be there and I'll need to be reminded what the heck I've said today, I'll try to make it and I'm sorry I threw a snit earlier. Some people dance with wolves. I stand with fist.  :-[ Ah well.
