I will take this opportunity to express my opinion.

If people were truly concerned and offended by what they saw and read in this thread, then they need to stay away from faire, because I have seen more and worse on broadcast television. If you don't like what you see, stop looking. Or perhaps you enoy the flexing of your imaginary power of making people do as you wish, which I find morally reprehensible. But go ahead, hide in the shadows and demonstrate what is becoming the worse part of our society and country. Show us how freedom of speech was a waste of the lives of our forebearers.

Hmmmmmm... you sound like one of dem der NeoCon's er sumthin...  What gave you the impression that majority rules in this country?  



I've bled/shed more than a few drops of blood for this country and it's Consitution.  PC needs to be done away with... PC killed 13 good men at Ft.Hood.

Actually, I'm libertarian. Live and let live. Don't screw with me and I won't screw with you. And that's what PC is; screwing with people. In stead of allowing people to be themselves, PC forces people into a behavioural mold. Last time I read through the Constitution there wasn't anything in there about freedom from being offended. If something offends you, walk away, turn away, change the channel, turn it off. But no, what we have instead are people that use the legal system and peer presure to beat everyone into conformity. Odd thing is, that's why the pilgrims sailed from England to the new world; for freedom from being beaten into religious conformity. That's why many people come to this country seeking politcal exile; seeking to keep from being beaten into political conformity. How ironic is that?

If we keep giving into PC pressure some day, someone just might tell us that faire isn't PC.

Rapier...  *facepalm*   Let it all slide, bro... politics has no place at faire.  That's why we go... to get away from that junk and forget about or worldly day-to-day toils & sorrows.  I agree that some people tend to forget that's why we love faire (especially TRF) and why we look forward to it for months.  Everytime i walk through those gates, the darkness is washed from my spirit and i feel like i've come home after a long trip.

I've done a kegstand before...was quite fun..and remember, as I said concerning loki, I have had it by way of an amateur maker who didn't give it enough time to sit..so a real loki I haven't sampled...and will I need shots before said Rusty Nail?

You guys can keep your keg... Bonny and I will be playing blender roulette, passing around whatever comes out of the spout of the Magic Elixir Machine, which will be cold, yummy, and plentiful! Oh, and those secret recipes are coming along nicely!    Hopefully we can prevent any sudden Random Blender Emergencies as long as we're well prepared when we get there!  


Hmmmm... may need to invest in one of those Arctic Air coolers that will keep ice frozen for 5 days... (not that it would last that long, but it would be nice to have ice when we get back to camp after a long, hot day!)
