the lady I work for at TRF has been bitten by the steampunk bug. She makes these amazing soft sculpture dolls.

Hello all, i am trying to put something simple together for steampunk garb, My persona would be a
scientist/inventor airship pilot. Was thinking of starting with a light colored linen duster and a hat, ah but
what style of hat. I realy like the looks of a bowler hat, top hat possibly. So what do you all think ?
or suggest.

Oz, will he be piloting his own small airship, or someone else's?  If it's his, then by all means, a bowler or a topper would be perfectly appropriate, if he works for someone else I would think something more like a newsboy cap (motoring cap).  Just my opinion, though, and probably not even worth tuppence!
